Come and Join us!
Alongside our staff members, we have a fab team of volunteers. Between them they make the shop the vital social hub of the village.
Volunteering is a great way to get to know fellow residents and find out about all the things going on in this vibrant village. Volunteer work here is as much a social occasion as anything else!
There are always opportunities, such as serving at the till, making sandwiches or doing those other important retail tasks (admin, IT, finance, marketing). So if you need to fulfill your Duke of Edinburgh commitments, want to learn new skills or refresh those you have or would like to meet new people we will always welcome you. There’s no need for previous experience as training and continuous support will be given.
If you have some spare time and think you might like to make a difference, pop into the shop and have a chat or alternatively drop us an email on accounts@sayerscommoncommunityshop.org
Volunteer Social Events
The Management Committee are always grateful for our volunteers and arranges events for all volunteers to meet together outside the shop in a social environment and have the opportunity to share experiences.
